Ceramic instant noodle mug with lid and fork, styled with lemon on a white background

Ceramic Noodle Mug with Lid & Fork

This is cute, practical, and feels one-of-a-kind. I originally bought it as a gift and ended up keeping it for myself. I love the lid, the thicker walls, and the fact that it comes with a fork — it feels like a great value.

Outdoor dual-chamber compost tumbler on a metal stand for home composting

Dual-Chamber Compost Tumbler

I bought this without ever composting before, and it’s been completely worth it. The dual chambers are incredibly helpful, and we’ve dramatically reduced our household trash while creating great compost for gardening. It does take a little time to learn the right balance, but once you do, it works like a charm.

Beaded 2-in-1 charging cable with colorful star-shaped beads and USB-C and iPhone connectors

Aolcev Beaded 2-in-1 Charging Cable (Rainbow Stars)

I love that this cable works for both USB-C devices and older iPhones, so I don’t need multiple cords. The beaded design adds a little weight, which actually makes it harder to misplace, and I reach for it constantly at my bedside and when I travel. It’s cute, functional, and longer than most standard chargers.

TOPTRO mini portable projector with built-in apps and autofocus lens shown from the front

TOPTRO Mini Portable Projector

I originally bought a TOPTRO portable projector for a camping trip because I wanted battery power, broad device compatibility, and a picture that could self-adjust in outdoor conditions — and it delivered on those fundamentals. The image quality was better than I expected for an outdoor setting, and it felt thoughtfully designed for off-grid use.

I ended up returning my original unit because I didn’t realize how much setup needed to happen at home before the trip. Based on that experience, I’d look for newer TOPTRO models with built-in apps and simpler setup — which is why I’m linking to a current version here.

Brawny Tear-A-Square 3-ply paper towels roll

Brawny Tear-A-Square Paper Towels

I’ve bought these on repeat for years. The tear-a-square sizes mean I don’t waste full sheets for small messes, but they’re still absorbent enough for bigger cleanups. It’s one of those background household staples that just works, no matter the phase of life.

Three bottles of Cuccio Naturale revitalizing cuticle oil with dropper tops

Bulk Cuticle Oil

This is a great bulk cuticle oil — effective, consistent, and not overpowering in scent. I like not worrying about running out, and the dropper works well. The packaging arrived secure with no leaks.

Maison Margiela Replica scented candle in a neutral glass jar

Maison Margiela Replica Scented Candle

This was a splurge for me, especially without smelling it first, and it’s one of my favorite purchases. I haven’t even lit it yet, and it still makes my entire room smell warm and expensive in a really subtle way. It instantly makes my space feel like a hotel room.

The scent feels luxurious without being heavy, and the jar is neutral and timeless enough to work with any decor. It’s more than I’d usually spend on a candle, but it feels completely worth it and brings me joy almost every day just by having it out.

POTTMACEE laptop screen extender with dual 14-inch portable monitors attached to a laptop

POTTMACEE Laptop Screen Extender

It gave me an instant, three-screen office while working from an Airbnb during a sudden move. Setup was easy, USB-C worked seamlessly with my MacBook, and once it was in place it felt stable and reliable. It’s not the lightest option, but for longer-term travel or temporary living where I need multiple screens and a small footprint, it worked exactly as I needed it to.

Baratza Encore conical burr coffee grinder in white on a clean background

Baratza Encore Coffee Grinder

I bought this grinder in early 2022 as a gift for my now husband, who loves sourcing and experimenting with good coffee beans, and we’ve used it regularly ever since. It was easy to set up, fits nicely on the counter, and has held up really well over time.

It’s definitely on the louder side, but it’s a coffee grinder — and the consistency and reliability make up for it. After doing some research, this felt like the kind of grinder a barista would actually keep at home, and years later it’s still going strong.
